Wildcard (week 13):
Joshua Pearlstein – Wanna Dance
Inspired by artists like Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake, Wanna Dance indeed has an updated *NSYNC kind of sound. Synth-driven, with Joshua Pearlstein’s spot-on (falsetto) vocal delivery around every corner, it’s funky, poppy and has a surprising, no holds barred electronic solo. A tune with ‘hit’ written all over it.
Wanna Dance by Joshua Pearlstein is the new Carte Blanche Music Wildcard. It will be prominently displayed at the top of the blog for an entire week.

Brook Fox – Together
If you like your tempo up, your energy high and you fun all around, this is the song to accompany you on your journey. Equal parts Two Door Cinema Club and Bloc Party, Together is a high-octane homage to the guitar-led euphoria of the late 2000s and early 2010s.
