Childhood – Nothing Ever Seems Right
South London-based band Childhood was formed in 2010 by frontman Ben Romans-Hopcraft and lead guitarist Leo Dobsen. After the initial success of their debut album Lacuna, in 2014, they are now back with a second studio effort, Universal High. The album revisits the seventies retro-soul influences that had sparked their interest in music (artists like Curtis Mayfield and The Isley Brothers), whilst tapping into old school pop.
Nothing Ever Seems Right is the third single to be taken from the album. If you like upbeat indie pop, this is your thing.
