Culture Wars – Bones
There are two bands I know of that call themselves Culture Wars. The recommendation below is not about the Italian one, but about a synth-driven three-piece rock outfit from Austin, Texas, consisting of Alex Dugan, Mic Vredenburgh and David Grayson.
This version of Culture Wars is basically the phoenix rising from the ashes of the band The Vanity. A year after the relaunch, their musical legacy features only five songs, each of which appears on their recently released, self-titled debut EP. The 80βs drenched EP was preceded by first single Money (Gimmie Gimmie), an industrial yet commercial rock song with a colourful video. Last week, the band released the βvisualizerβ for second single Lies, but Iβd like to recommend the track Bones to you. A straightforward, but very danceable rock track that will undoubtedly get the masses swinging during their concerts.
All in all, this first EP contains five great ways to start a career!
