Cut/Copy – Black Rainbows
Cut/Copy started in 2001 as a home-recording project by Australian DJ Dan Whitford (vocals, keyboards and guitar), but the act gradually grew into a full electronic band, including Tim Hoey (guitars), Ben Browning (bass guitar) and Mitchell Scott (drums). If you dig bands like Depeche Mode and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (or eighties music in general), be sure to check Cut/Copy as well!
The band are about to release their fifth studio album Haiku From Zero (22 September). After Airborne and Standing In The Middle Of The Field, Black Rainbows is the third taster to precede it.
