Danko – Hit Me Up
Danko (born as Samuel Gori), is a 16-year-old producer from the north of Italy. He started his musical career playing the piano he received from his parents on his sixth birthday. His first inspirations as an artist were Michael Jackson and Jamiroquai. Later, he discovered a passion for electronic music and dominant vocals.
Early in his career already, he received massive support from the likes of TiΓ«sto, Hardwell and Alan Walker. Now, itβs time for the general public to fully embrace him. To me, his new single Hit Me Up sounds like the track that could establish that. The funky guitar riff it starts off with is immediately recognizable: itβs a sample from Ohio Playersβ Love Rollercoaster. This makes the song suitable for radio as well as DJ sets. Could be massive!
