Now 21 years old, Sloan Struble has been making music since he was 10. But his Dayglow project only began in 2017, naming the band after a song he liked. With his first album Fuzzybrain, the Texan artist proved he has a knack for writing great pop songs. By consequence, expectations for his sophomore album Harmony House, out on 21 May, are high. But by the sound of its first two singles, it’s not likely to disappoint.

Not long after Close To You, Dayglow puts out his new track Something. A bright, fun and refreshing song. At first hearing, you might think nothing much happens. But listen more closely and you’ll hear one productional gimmick after another. And just when you realize that, all of a sudden it’s over. Less than two minutes after it started.
