DRMS & L’Isle – La Vague
After releasing three albums under her own name, Canadian singer-songwriter Ariane Brunet has chosen a new ‘nom de plume’: L’Isle. Her first album under that name will come out in 2019. One of the artists she’ll work with on that album, is her countryman, composer and producer Étienne Dupuis-Cloutier, better known as DRMS.
The first fruit of this collaboration is the single La Vague. A clever, modern-sounding pop song about emancipation and female solidarity in all of its forms. Even if you don’t understand French, it’s still a fresh summer song you can dance to.
