Drool – Transmission Commission
Drool formed in 2018 around singer and songwriter Joey Rogers, guitarist Louis Greenway, bassist Charlie Pinnock and ex Vant drummer Martin Söderin. The band garnered plenty of attention with their EP’s Junkyard (2020) and Runaway (2021). They toured Europe in 2019 and played the Isle Of Wight Festival in 2021. In between, they supported Band Of Skulls, Black Grape, The Pale White and The Mysterines on UK shows. This way, Drool built a loyal fanbase.
The quartet have just recorded six brand-new tracks for their next EP Songs For The Sad Kids. Following Teenage Skin, Transmission Commission is the second single to be released ahead of the EP. It’s a dark cinematic rock track with crooning verses that explode into ferocious double time call-back choruses. A dynamic track full of suspense, that builds up to an epic finale.
