Dua Lipa – Bad Together / Genesis
Dua Lipa released her first single, New Love, in August 2015. Since then, Be The One, Hotter Than Hell, Blow Your Mind (Mwah) β all three of them ex Carte Blanche Music Wildcards – and Lost In Your Light (feat. Miguel) followed, while Last Dance, Room For 2 and Thinking βbout You were issued as separate digital tracks as well.
Apart from these songs, she also scored big as featured singer on Sean Paulβs No Lie, Martin Garrixβs Scared To Be Lonely and Waleβs My Love (feat. Major Lazer & WizKid). 11 (hit) singles in 22 months, what a way to start your career!
All eight of Dua Lipaβs own singles are collected on the Deluxe Edition of her self-titled debut album, a bundle of 17 songs (the standard version has 12). An obvious choice for the next single is Homesick, a collaboration (although uncredited) with Coldplayβs Chris Martin. New Rules stands a good chance to be released as a future single as well, but two other album tracks are my favourites.
