Eliza & The Delusionals – Swimming Pool
Eliza & The Delusionals are well-known among Carte Blanche Music visitors for their hugely successful single Just Exist. The indie rock quartet just announced their new EP A State Of Living In An Objective Reality. To be released on 20 March, it culminates the bandβs growth over the last 24-months. The EP will include five tracks. Three of those are out already: the aforementioned Just Exist, follow-up Pull Apart Heart, and brand-new single Swimming Pool.
Frontwoman Eliza Klatt says of that track: βSwimming Pool is about diving back into bad decisions and feeling stuck in something you canβt get out of. I wrote the lyrics when I could feel myself growing out of my relationship but I didnβt know how to handle it. So I would just stay where I was and keep repeating the same things that werenβt helping me.β

This song is like a ray of sunshine!! Plus, thereβs something so heartbreakingly honest about the lyrics and the story behind the words. So happy to have found this! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
