European Border Breakers Chart 24 March 2017
Set your alarm at Fridays around noon (or simply sign up for chart alerts), for that is the day and time that the new European Border Breakers Charts are published. Each week choke full of great European talent that is being played on radio stations outside their home countries. The artists and tracks that are likely to cross-over to your country within a few months.
Let me highlight some of this weekβs 12 (re)entries in the chart. The amazing Alma (pictured) is in at #56 with her new single Chasing Highs. Confusing that the French representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is also called Alma. But the Finnish Alma is the original! Chasing Highs is the follow-up to her earlier EBBChart hits Karma and Dye My Hair (currently at #5).
Elsewhere in the list we find Somebody Better by Black Honey at #95. Also this week, Loyle Carner re-enters the EBBChart with not one, but two tracks: The Isle Of Arran (#78) and β ahead of its deserved re-release mid-April β Ainβt Nothing Changed (#99).
As always, click the βEBBChartβ tab at the top of this blog for the complete Top 100 (loading of the PDF may take a little while). For more charts (like the Bubbling Under, which ranks the tracks that are on their way to the Top 100), please visit www.europeanborderbreakerschart.eu
