Hollie Col – Seasick
Hollie Col is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter whose loveable charm translates into instantly likeable songs. Heavily inspired by artists such as Taylor Swift, Maggie Rogers and Haim, she makes guitar-infused pop. Her self-directed music videos, emphasis on storytelling and LGBTQIA+ representation already brought her an army of fans. Thatβs likely to grow further with the release of her latest track.
Following her previous single Reruns, her new song Seasick is co-written and produced by Dylan Nash (Dean Lewis and Angus & Julia Stone). It has a timeless quality to it and has an ultra memorable chorus.
Hollie says about it: βI wrote this song with Dylan Nash about a back and forth relationship, and how nauseating it can feel to be stuck on someone you just want to get over. I think itβs almost comical how often we lie to ourselves about our own feelings or get frustrated at ourselves for crushing over someone we do NOT want to be crushing over.β
