The real name of French singer-songwriter Jain is Jeanne Galice. Last year she scored a huge hit in large parts of Europe with Come, and in the other parts it has just been re-released. The success of this one song was instrumental in the fact Jain receives a European Border Breakers Award tonight. But listening to the rest of her music, she doesn’t sound like a one day fly to me.

At the end of last year, Jain released a Deluxe Edition of her debut album Zanaka. This special version contains six extra tracks: three new songs and three remixes. Bonus points for the fact that these six additions have also been released as a separate EP, for the people who had already bought the album earlier.

Allow me to suggest Jain to release the ultra-catchy Dynabeat as her next single. I think it’s the best of the three new tracks and it sounds like a bona fide hit to me!
