In 2002, Kafka Tamura started life as a character in the novel Kafka On The Shore by Japanese author Haruki Murakami. Ten years later, the name was adopted by a pop band.

Kafka Tamura is a German-British Soundcloud love story. Singer Emma Bradshaw was only 16 when she started writing songs at her home in Southampton England and put them up on Soundcloud. Not much later two musicians from Leipzig, Patrick Bongers and Gabriel Häuser, discovered her work online. A few mails later, they started to exchange vocal files and music and their first single Somewhere Else was born. Only in 2013 the three finally met in real life. An album, Nothing To Everyone, followed in 2014.

Anno 2017, Kafka Tamura is a duo, consisting of Bradshaw and Häuser. Find Me Well is their first all-new material in three years’ time.
