Liss – Waste My Time
Danish quartet Liss were just teenagers when they first gained international acclaim with their debut single Try in 2015. It was the first display of the band’s grungey take on r&b, soul and alternative pop.
They just released a brand-new double single, featuring the tracks Waste My Time and Off Today. I like the first best. Waste My Time is an up-tempo, summery indie pop song about youthful confusion in an overly large world with endless possibilities. Its slightly melancholy tone is perfectly complemented by the danceable instrumentation, including a catchy guitar hook.
Lissβ third EP is expected later this year.
