Mina – All Night

Mina Mazzini, now 77 years of age, is one of the greatest Italian singers of all times. An icon for Italians (not only because of her three-octave vocal range, but also because of her image of an independent woman), who performed in a large number of television variety shows. 79 of her albums and 71 of her singles reached the Italian charts, and she also scored many hits abroad. In Europe, but also in the US. One of her best-known songs is her duet Parole Parole with Alberto Lupo (1972), which became a worldwide hit in the version of Dalida & Alain Delon (1974).

Around that time, Mina stopped performing in public, but she continued to make a record per year(!).

In 1960 and 1961, she performed at the Sanremo festival. 56(!) years later, she returns there with her version of Parov Stellar’s All Night (2012). A danceable, jazzy affair!
