Miss Machine – Regarder Les Choses

When Éloïse Boisseau released her first EP Tout Autour as Miss Machine last year, I was impressed immediately. It sounded like the debut of a talented French artist. With her new single, the singer-songwriter from Nantes confirms this impression, and proves she’s an artist to keep an eye on.

Miss Machine’s style consists of pop-rock songs sung in French, based around guitars and synths. New track Regarder Les Choses (‘to look at things’) is no exception. It’s the first of a few new songs she will put out in the months ahead. In an interview with France 3, the artist tells she has 15 songs ready to record. However, she admits, she could use some help (financially as well) to fulfil that wish.

Miss Machine is a project you’d typically want to see live. In France, like anywhere, the live scene comes back to life slowly. Nevertheless, she was able to open for ‘80s heroes Cock Robin recently, which was a valuable experience.
