In the summer of 2021, Olivia O’Brien released the EP Episodes: Season 1. You’ll hardly be surprised Episodes: Season 2 is on it’s way. Combined, the EP’s will form the LA-based singer-songwriter’s sophomore album.

‘I’ve never been one for metaphors, I prefer to just say things how they are and hope someone out there feels the same’, it says in her bio. O’Brien’s new single Bitches These Days totally lives up to that statement. It’s an anthem about steering clear of untrustworthy, fake friendships, with an upbeat tempo and lyrics that embrace her honest and bold spirit. She says about the track: “The production and the melodies are inspired by ‘00s pop, which was super fun to make since that kind of music raised me.”

Sure to add a healthy number to the over 2 billion global artist streams O’Brien already amassed so far.
