Pale Waves – There’s A Honey
How about a great new band from Manchester? Well, it may be early days to draw such a conclusion for Pale Waves, but their first properly released single is most promising. Not in the least because it was produced by Matthew Healy and George Daniel of The 1975.
Pale Waves make jangle pop in the best tradition of R.E.M., The Bangles and The Smiths, covered with a sauce of sophistication. Thereβs A Honey is a track with a chorus so big, itβs sure to stand-out live as well. Did I already call them promising?
