Pat Dam Smyth – Juliette
Pat Dam Smyth grew up on a farm in Northern Ireland from Irish and Greek parents. He used his music as a form of escapism and eventually moved to London, via Dublin, Liverpool, Athens and Los Angeles. Inspired by the likes of Nick Cave, John Grant, Beck and Pink Floyd, he recorded his debut album The Great Divide in 2012.
The follow-up, Kids, will be released in a few monthsβ time. But first you can expect theΒ EP Goodbye Berlin. The first track, which will feature on both, is called Juliette. Itβs a story about a young woman who escapes an abusive relationship. Powerful stuff!
