Purple Disco Machine (feat. Joe Killington & Duane Harden) – Devil In Me
International DJ, producer and remixer Tino Piontek has been making music as Purple Disco Machine ever since 2009. Still, until now he is best-known for his remixes for other artists, like Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Faithless, New Order, Two Door Cinema Club, Tom Odell and Sigma. Until now…
This year, Purple Disco Machine will release its debut album Soulmatic, combining traditional disco house club tracks with funk, soul, boogie and indie disco jams. It will feature collaborations with the likes of Faithless, hip hop legend Kool Keith, Bag Raiders and Karen Harding, as well as a number of very exciting newcomers.
Devil In Me is the first official single taken from the album. It boasts a The Avener-like house groove, a familiar sounding bluesy guitar sample (or is it a bass?) and a catchy vocal, co-written by Duane Harden (the featured vocalist on Armand Van Helden’s 1999 club classic You Don’t Know Me) and sung by Joe Killington.
