Saint Etienne – Heather
I know nothing about football, except that the British band Saint Etienne named itself after a French football team. That was back in 1990. Undeservedly, they have never been as well-known abroad as they were back home. I still love the bandβs early singles, such as Who Do You Think You Are (a Jigsaw cover), Like A Motorway, Heβs On The Phone and Burnt Out Car.
But Saint Etienne have always continued to release albums. Last spring, their ninth studio album Home Countries appeared. After having served as a promotional track earlier in the year, the song Heather is out now as its new official single.
