Scott Helman – PDA
Canadian singer-songwriter Scott Helman counts album-focused artists like Arcade Fire, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, The Cure, Bon Iver and Paul Simon as his musical influences, but his own songs are much more uplifting.
Since releasing his debut EP Augusta in 2014, lead single Bungalow racked up nearly 10 million Spotify streams. He played with Tegan & Sara, Shawn Mendes and Walk Off The Earth, reaching a huge audience. Last year, Helmanβs first full-length album HΓ΄tel De Ville came out. An irresistible pop album that now brings us his new single PDA.
Itβs not about a personal digital assistant, but rather about public displays of affection. Despite the usually negative connotation of that term, this PDA (todayβs blog) is purely meant to be positive. Great song!
