Sebu feat. Sirusho – Have You Ever Hurt Somebody
In the past decade, Sebu Simonian made a name for himself with his band Capital Cities. Most notably with their smash hit Safe And Sound. In 2020, the L.A.-based musician, singer, songwriter and record producer is preparing to share his proudest accomplishment with the world: his debut album Many Faces. The title refers to the wide range of emotions and musical styles present on the album. The record’s wonderful first single The Secret Is Out was a Carte Blanche Music Wildcard last November.
Next up is the equally beautiful song Have You Ever Hurt Somebody, which reunites him with singer/songstress Sirusho. She – like Sebu originally – is from Armenia. In the video, Sebu plays a guilt-ridden boyfriend, who sings “I would rather fight with you than make love to someone else.” At the dramatic climax, he undergoes an emotional and physical transformation, shaving off his iconic beard.
