Spring King – Let’s Drink
On their second album A Better Life, Manchester four-piece Spring King have fully collaborated for the first time in their six-year existence. The band no longer depends on frontman Tarek Musa (vocals/drums) for their central sound. This results in an energetic, confident album, that is equal parts Musa and his band-mates Pete Darlington (guitar), Andy Morton (guitar) and James Green (bass).
Let’s Drink is the fifth single to be released off the album. Another attitude-fuelled cut, but with a touch of Britpop. It raises a glass to introverts everywhere with possibly the best chorus the band have produced to date.
