With their band Barefoot & The Shoes, Belgian brothers Brent Buckler and Sander Cliquet, Vincent Lembregts and Marijn Geerts released two albums and played live throughout their home country. Last year however, they decided to rename their band to Sun Gods and create a completely new sound. Exit indie-folk, welcome layered synths and guitars, and prominent drums. Think The War On Drugs and Snow Patrol. What stayed, is Brent Buckler’s characteristic, warm and charming voice.

We’ll have to wait another year before Sun Gods drop their debut album, so for now, all we have is this first digitally released single, that definitely screams for more!
