I can’t wait for Haim’s second album, but it seems to be taking them ages to finish it. If you’re just as impatient as I am, you’ll probably like this as an alternative, like I do.

The Aces (now isn’t that an appropriate name?) are four girls from Utah. Just like Haim, the band contains sisters, Cristal Ramirez (vocals/guitar) and Alisa Ramirez (drums), plus their friends Katie Henderson (guitar) and McKenna Petty (bass).

Physical is only their second single, a prelude to their debut EP I Don’t Like Being Honest (due June 23).
