Late last year, native New York melodic rock band The Chordaes put out their EP In Itinere. The first single What Do You Want From Me was a great, Beatlesque pop gem, that easily made it onto my Carte Blanche Music playlist. Now, they’re releasing a new mix of EP track Something New. A song that grows on me.

As you can hear, The Chordaes’ sound is a sweet blend of classic rock and power pop. Genres that were popular in the 1990s as well. To get to know the band better, online music magazine Popdust asked them to compile their playlist of 90’s heroes. And boy, what a great job they did!
