The Curious Incident – Honey Hunger
If the band name alone makes you curious, just listen how they describe themselves… ‘It’s pop/rock with a Caribbean twist’, or ‘It’s music with the spice of hot sauce and the nice of lemonade’ or even ‘It’s music to make land-lovers surf’.
More to the point: The Curious Incident consists of Kairo (from South Africa) and Diaz (from Indonesia) who found their way to England via the Netherlands. Recommended (by themselves) if you like UB40, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Kooks, Magic! and Vampire Weekend.
Their new single Honey Hunger is one bunch of catchiness, with its rhythm that combines Alphabeat’s Fascination and the ‘Bo Diddley beat’. Now, that makes you curious, doesn’t it? So click ‘play’ on the double!
