The Greyhound Factory – New Year’s Eve
Only last summer, 4-piece English powerpop/rock outfit The Greyhound Factory debuted with Genie And The Gun. Now, with excellent timing, they release the follow-up, aptly titled New Year’s Eve. The track pays tributes to their love of acts such as The Cure and Elvis Costello.
New Year’s Eve was written a year ago already, but the band kept it under wraps until now, in order to make maximum impact in the festive season. Smart thinking… The Greyhound Factory recorded and produced the track in their own basement studio in Cambridge, and it was mastered by Kevin Paul (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Goldfrapp).
