Tilly Louise – Baggy T-Shirt
Tilly Louise, from Liverpool, is a self professed fan-girl of local acts like Zuzu and Pixey. Well, that makes two of us then. Furthermore, she takes inspiration from the likes of Paramore, Haim and Blondie. Over the years Louise played multiple sold out shows. Both headline gigs and opening for her heroes such as Cassia and Fickle Friends.
Baggy T-Shirt is only her fourth single, and I think it’s a banger. Followers may already know the song, for it’s been part of Louise’s setlist for some time now. It proved to be a fan-favourite way ahead of its formal release. This is in part thanks to it gaining popular buzz on TikTok, with fans creating fun videos to the track.
Self-produced and self-recorded, Baggy T-Shirt encapsulates everything great about indie guitar-pop, combining strong ‘90s nostalgia with alternative rock influence.
