US Girls is in fact the one (wo)man band of Canadian singer-songwriter Meghan Remy. Her sixth album In A Poem Unlimited will be out on 16 February.

Pearly Gates is the third single to be released ahead of the album, after predecessors Mad As Hell and Velvet 4 Sale. The track, that features guest vocals by James Baley, describes a woman trying to seduce St. Peter to secure entry to the heavenly realm, with mixed results.
