Aoife Power (vocals, bass), Niall Burns (guitar) and Andrew Flood (drums) originate from the Irish city of Limerick, that’s probably best-known for the fact that it was The Cranberries’ home town as well. They first met as teenagers in the only indie bar in town, and when Niall moved to London, Aoife and Andrew followed him. There, they began writing songs together. In 2016 they formed their band whenyoung.

The band only have a few releases to their name. In fact, Pretty Pure is only their fourth single. Like their other songs, it combines melodic rock music with great pop hooks. Think Blondie, The Bangles or, more recently, Pip Blom.
