Your favourites (August 2018)

On the 1st of each month I look back upon my recommendations that you liked best. What’s particularly interesting in September, is seeing which song can we pronounced ‘Carte Blanche Music Summer Hit of 2018’, according to your tastes.

Well, that’s pretty clear… It’s Alright by Nona was the second most-liked recommendation on this blog in July already, and that very same post was best-read in August.
So, congrats Nona, for scoring the alternative summer hit of the year! If you aren’t convinced yet, please check below how she and her band played the song live on Dutch radio recently…

These were your ten favourites in August:

  1. Nona – It’s Alright
  2. The Revivalists – All My Friends
  3. Sir Notch – Gimme That Sunshine
  4. Danko – Hit Me Up
  5. Barns Courtney – “99” / Good Thing
